GREAT FOOD! Sunday brunch is a winner! Lobster burrito was beyond expectations as was the breakfast sandwich! So damn good. Lobster burger was massive, amazing and the sauce on it was exceptional! I was MOST excited about the fries bc they are fried in tallow and usually that means ULTRA perfect crispiness… but the fries were a total disappointment. Not crispy, most were actually soft. We were the first customers so maybe the oil wasn’t hot enough…??? When the server asked how I liked them bc I had said how excited I was & I shared I expected them to be crispy she just said, well, some people know to ask for them crispy if that’s how they want them…. Really?!?? What a weird reply. But overall, we were so happy to finally get to visit Calico Fish House on our trip to SoCal. So I’m not docking a star for the fries! Just be warned, if you like them something other than soft, you should probably tell the server that ahead of time.
This place is awesome. Great food and service. Erica is the Mgr this shift and this girl is rocking…. She makes drinks, takes orders, delivers food and through all that, she is smiling. The grounds are gorgeous with bright colorful flowers. Tuesday afternoons good time to go for 5 tacos, beer and great salsa fries!I had fish tacos, fresh sea bass and fries. All delicious and not very pricey. 5 margaritas and beer made the afternoon great You need to try it. I did!!!

OMG what an amazing dinner Chef Andrew Gruel's #CalicoFishHouse. Beautiful afternoon so we sat on the patio--man what a treat! Food was amaze balls, service was on point, and sitting on the patio in the afternoon in Sunset Beach provided for the perfect ambiance. I highly recommend! Yum Yum!
This is our new favorite restaurant!!! Just wish they would be open later daily!!! We have recommended all of our friends to come here... Great Service! Great food!!! Happy hour and taco Tuesdays have great deals!!!
This place was absolutely gorgeous. The entire staff was so attentive. The place was clean and the food was amazing. The drinks were amazing. We had a birthday party and they were able to host us without a problem. We will absolutely be going back. If it's a sunny day outside definitely recommend eating the patio
Great casual place to hang out and enjoy fresh seafood. Great menu- choice of fish and 1 side entree is highly recommended! Unusual sides - creative lobster dishes- cocktails, wine, beer, bar, outdoor seating, table service, beautiful- landscape of flowers outside. Our server, Rylee, couldn't have been more helpful! - our meals were great. but we didnt like the lobster dip and homemade chips. chips were too plain and dip felt just like a mayonnaise sauce, also lacking flavor.
I was pleasantly surprised by Calico Fish. Food was great good size portions, variety on the drink menu. Casual place for lunch, brunch or breakfast. Great atmosphere for a summer nights dinner!!! I will definitely be going back to try the different entrees!
